We moved last summer. We concentrated on the necessary work in the house itself, first, and totally ignored the garden. The garden wasn’t good to begin with. The previous owner didn’t spend much time maintaining it and the house had been for sale for a while. So it looked like this (after we added some trash ourselves):
Last week, three guys from a church group that wanted to earn money for a foreign aid trip dug up the old grass and put in new. Wow, it makes a world of difference! It is so much more fun to look at the garden now.
