Transportation - without car

Tags: cycling, house

We don’t own a car. That’s quite some money that we don’t need to spend every month in insurance and fuel :-)

But when moving it poses some problems. I’ve got to move a lot of stuff, mostly from the DIY shop to the new house. Big heavy buckets of paint. Large rolls of wallpaper (the 1m long glass fiber ones). Things that don’t fit on the back of the bike or in regular bike bags.

Luckily we’ve got a radical cyclone two-wheel bicycle trailer:

Transport bike?

Real handy to move lots of stuff without needing to rent a van or to ask someone to help. But I do get a lot of help! Till now three people have helped me with their car. And I hired a van once till now.

But the bicycle trailer does most of the work!
