Saturday’s work

Tags: house

Saturday started off easy. I slept in a bit and had coffee afterwards. A couple of church-administrative things needed doing so that meant “laptop” instead of “screwdriver”.

Early afternoon I went to the DIY shop again. Getting a few new drills as I don’t know which ones are good and which ones are bad anymore. They’re all old so I replaced them in one go. And some more paint :-)

The rest of the afternoon alternated between showing my parents the house and taking off the wallpaper in the living room. My dad seemed pretty happy with the state of repair of our house, which is always a good sign. It is basically sound, so with reasonable minimal effort it should be ready soon for painting and so.

In the evening: putting in basic lights in all the rooms so we can work in the evenings, too. Especially important: a light in the toilet :-)
