There's a financial crisis. The US is at the core of that. There's Iraq and Afghanistan. The US is also at the core of that.

John Robb is a good US strategic thinker who doesn't agree (rightfully so) with the way the US handles it all. And he's asked to give a talk to a congress committee . He's made a 3.5 page summary of his testimony (pdf) that I enjoyed reading.
