A-Z linksΒΆ

I just released AZlinks, a handy way of browsing a large collection of links. Large meaning several hundred. You get a folder in which you can place links, the azfolder then allows you to browse or search the information in several ways:

  • Full text search.
  • Browse by category.
  • The most visible: a-z. You get an a..z matrix that selects links by their initial letter.

The azlinkfolder can only contain azlinks, a custom contenttype based on ATLink. Wichert Akkerman asked in irc why it wasn't made more generic with a marker interface. That's actually a pretty good idea. You could use the product for more types of content in that way. I'm at least mentioning it here, as I won't add that functionality right away myself. I'll keep it in the back of my head, it might prove a useful to have the same functionality for other contenttypes also for the customer for which we implemented it.
