I went to the dentist this afternoon and boy, he had a nice toy. The last time I had my teeth photographed the photos needed to be developed, so that took a day or so.
Now I had to put some vertical piece of plastic with a wired attached to it in my mouhth, the dentist pointed a camera (which looked like the barrel of a medium sized tank) and clicked on his computer. What?
Hey, we both looked at an instant photograph of my teeth (x-ray or so). You could handily go through my teeth slice by slice to look at the (non-)damage in detail.
It's probably normal in many dentist's shops, but I found it fun enough to blog about :-)
