Americans out there: vote!
As Tim Orens says if you don't vote, you can't complain about the outcome. And for us foreigners: grab a bottle of your favorite, pull up a chair, and enjoy the world's biggest soap opera, paid for by someone else's taxes.
There are two websites that really track each and every poll for the last months. The most visited one is the electoral vote predictor, the guy that set up the website and poured that much time and money in it promised us a surprise yesterday. Ow, yes. It's Andrew Tanenbaum, one of the top guys in ICT research. An American now living and teaching in Amsterdam. Creator of Minix, a Linux predecessor. Really funny.
But go and read what he has to say, In a nutshell, because living abroad I know first hand what the world thinks of America and it is not a pretty picture at the moment. I want people to think of America as the land of freedom and democracy, not the land of arrogance and blind revenge. I want to be proud of America again.
For the Technorati vote I support Kerry.
