Slashdot has an article which links to recent photos from chernobil, it is an eerie sight. Flats, empty since 1986. (The site was recently re-done, so my previous pointer at the best page went nowhere. The current site merits a complete visit, anyhow!)
Slashdot is a site with lots of tech/linux related news. Therefore I really liked this good comment: That this was the most eye opening thing I have seen linked on /. in a long time. Really makes all the SCO and Ipod stuff seem kinda small. I mean that was one of the most surreal things I have experienced in a long time.
