Translating schemata namesΒΆ

Tags: plone

It took me ridiculously long to find out how to translate schemata names. I've got no idea if I never did this before of if something changed of if I simple forgot all about it. Anyway:

  • Put your translations in the plone domain. So that'll be an plone-yourproductname-nl.po or so.
  • In an i18n folder in an old-style product. No locales folder, no lib/python library.
  • The label you have to translate is not the name of your schemata (say "measurements"), but "label_schema_measurements".

It works now and via google I can find it back when I forget it again in half a year :-)
