Cheap harddisks…¶

A slashdot post about just buying a new harddisk when you do a full (re-)install of your OS and keeping the old one as convenient backup... I can agree with the last sentence: There's still a part of me that remembers what it was like before hard drives, getting my first hard drive and how precious it seemed, that's totally traumatised by how wasteful this feels though.
