STABU LexiCon
I spend four years of my PhD at STABU. That and my involvement in the eConstruct project gave me a lot of info on STABU's LexiCon taxonomy. Here's my collection of LexiCon information.
eConstruct project
The LexiCon was used a lot in the eConstruct project, so I won't duplicate that information (and links to the same papers etc.) here.
STABU lexicon expert panel discussion
Jasper Feenstra is a graduate student at Twente University in the Netherlands, graduating on the subject of the marketability of the LexiCon as made by STABU . He organised an interesting expert panel to discuss some theses he cooked up on 2004-10-25. I placed a summary on my weblog.
End 2003 content summary
Anouncement of the start of the LexiCon website with a very short summary on the contents at the end of 2003.
Historical LexiCon summary
For historical interest: a summary of the LexiCon from 2000. Contains a UML model. IMHO some historical data is normally very handy to get a good overview of the intention of any technology. (Lifted from my masters thesis, btw).
CEN econstruction final meeting
Summary of the final presentation of the CEN "econstruction" workshop halfway 2004. Shows the LexiCon embedded in the wider European construction ICT research.
STABU LexiCon - Diffusion and adoption of a new information standard
M.Sc. thesis by Jasper Feenstra from December 2004. He looked at STABU's LexiCon from the viewpoint of adoption. What are the mechanisms by which the LexiCon could be accepted by the market? What can be scientifically said about adoption and diffusion of such a standard? What can STABU do on their end to increase the LexiCon's market chances?
