Logo explanation
Now why do I have that medieval logo at the top of my website? An explanation.
The website of the German town of Rees used to have the official Rees logo (=heraldic sign) on the front page, but they've since changed to a different layout - without the sign. You can see the official heraldic sign on a different website, though.
I took that logo and gave it a blue background, as I kinda like blue. A while ago I noticed that the family sign of the Rees knights also has a blue background (though with a horse on top of it).
I used it once when wearing 15 kg of medieval ironmongery .
